It just gets better for Autism in Motion!

It has been a busy, busy year for Autism in Motion!
Back in September, the organisation were surprised with an award from the Liverpool Football Association for ‘Disability Project of the Year’.
AIM run two football teams for Under-8s and Under-13s, as well as running a multitude of activities and sessions for children with additional needs.
They have also been encouraging girls to become more involved in football. The teams have been very successful, and have played in a variety of tournaments – in no small part due to their coach, Mark!
AIM have also recently received a partner award from the ADHD Foundation, at the Foundation’s winter ball in the Shankly Hotel in November.
In the first coffee morning back after the school summer holidays, which was full to the brim with parents coming together to support each other, AIM had a lovely surprise from a lady called Audrey.
Audrey’s granddaughter, Gemma, regularly attends AIM events with her children; having noticed the wonderful impact the organisation has, and recently turning 90, Audrey asked for donations instead of presents for her birthday, and gave AIM a massive £150, making everyone cry!
The organisation have some very exciting news coming up in the new year, so keep an eye out for announcements!
